Self-custody and on-chain settlement
Your USDC and outcome shares live in an escrow PDA you control. We never hold custody.
When you connect your Solana wallet for the first time, Urightmarket creates a per-user escrow account on chain. It's a Program Derived Address — meaning the contract owns it on-chain, but only signatures from your wallet can move funds out. We never have your private key. You can withdraw your full balance at any time without our involvement.
How orders work
When you place an order, your wallet signs the order details locally (price, amount, expiration). The order itself is matched off-chain for speed, but every settlement runs on Solana — your signed order is the authority for moving funds, and our cranker has zero ability to settle anything you didn't sign for.
Why this matters
Centralized exchanges hold your USDC in their wallet, settle trades in their database, and you trust them to honor withdrawals. On Urightmarket every USDC movement is a real Solana transaction with your signature attached. If we vanished tomorrow, your funds are still on chain and recoverable.
